Understanding Results of Domain Lookup
Querying all desired domains was finished, now you need to find out which good domains are available and
which ones are taken.
The best way to see domains that are available is to click "Availability" column header in the Domains List.
You will get available domains listed first, after them there will be domains that are not available, and domains whose
availability is unknown will be at the end of the list. It's very useful to copy domain names from the list using
"Copy..." commands from "Edit" menu.
You can see what happens with the domain. The domain's Status property can have one of these values:
- Done - Querying of the domain is completely finished (the second step is finished).
- Unknown - Querying of the domain is canceled by the user or wasn't started yet.
- TLD Unrecognized - Unknown TLD was used in the domain.
- Network Error - Network error occured.
- Querying - This domain is currently in the queue and querying process is just started.
- Waiting... - This domain is not in the queue and it's waiting to be included there.
- Unable to Connect - Cannot connect to web/WHOIS server (most possible, the computer is not connected
to the Internet).
- Looking up... - Finding web/WHOIS server.
- Taken - Waiting for Details... - First pass is completed and the domain is taken. Now the domain will be
included in the queue and second pass will retrieve domain's details.
- WHOIS Server Busy, Check Later - WHOIS server is too busy to serve you now. You will have to check
this domain again after several minutes.
